Miami University’s Master of Athletic Training (M.A.T.) program prepares you to become a Board of Certification (BOC)-certified athletic trainer. Through a CAATE-accredited curriculum and multiple clinical experiences, you will develop the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to support the health, safety, and performance of athletes and active individuals. The program combines classroom learning with supervised clinical practice under the guidance of credentialed athletic trainers. Coursework also explores how physical, social, cultural, and organizational factors influence health and athletic performance.
